i believe he does that to have more throttle control. when ur controlling the throttle w/ ur last 2 fingers its easy to slip or accidently pull.

it's not about that. That's just the way he's gotten used to do it. It may not give you any advantage or even make it worse for you. You'd probably be safer using the index finger like most racers, or the middle finger like Casey Stoner, or both. Rossi even uses 4 fingers to brake, so I think it depends on how you personally feel more in control. Personally, I wouldn't be able to lift the ring, and middle fingers well without also lifting the little finger ;)

i know most people use 2 fingers, but he is using his middle finger and ring finger, watch at 1:55 i know people who use their pointer finger and middle finger, but not ring finger

i think a lot of people that ride bikes use 2 fingers on clutch and brake at least me and my buddies do
