Coldplay's "Viva la Vida" set to the paintings of Thomas Cole. This set of 5 paintings makes up Cole's The Course of Empire. I got these paintings from http://... . Where it gives a little description on the point of view of each and a passage that was originally put with each painting. If that one breaks again:http://...

A brilliant song paired with marvelous paintings. The "Consummation of Empire" has got to be my favorite one. Gives me a "Pax Romana" type of impression.Thx much for the upload!

AS if the whole COLDPLAY-stole-my-song circus wasn't silly enough, a third track has now appeared, with claims it is the inspiration for Viva La Vida. But the discovery of French singer ALIZEE's track by music fans could actually be good news for CHRIS MARTIN and Co.Guitar legend JOE SATRIANI is already suing the band, claiming Viva La Vida contains "substantial original portions" of his 2004 song If I Could Fly.

Hi Folks! What a great song! That is why I have teamed up with a pro piano player and made an acoustic live version of "Viva la Vida"! Pls come and watch, but also be warned: It is quite different from the other covers on Youtube :)

Joe Satriani has broken his silence for the first time after it was announced he is suing Coldplay for plagiarism. The guitarist claims the British band copied elements of his 2004 song 'If I Could Fly' for their track 'Viva La Vida'.
