this game is so damn fun, we'd have ten people shouting and cheering for every match, oh-ing at the close calls and beat downs, cheering for the under dog, crazy shit. such great memories with this game.

you hold back away from your opponent and tap x twice...the second time u tap it though. hold it =].so once again.You hold back away from ur opponent. hit x once and hit it again but you hold it the second time..this will start refilling the energybut it will only refill the long bars not the small ones.if u let go of x you will stop re filling energy.but then u can do it agian and yeah lol =]there ya go

When i first got the game i that same problem. But i thought my brother knew what to do But he won't tell me So i started hitting him randomly XD

LOL you're telling me. At first I thought I had a busted version of the game cause in Dragon Adventure I could do all those moves but not in Dueling. Looking forward to finding out all the secrets of this game :-)

Hey, I've got all chars, but I delete my gem becuse my friend makes he's game over on my Memory Card.. I can see I've got my friends game in Memory Card, but then I deleted it says "No Dragonball Budokai 3 games on this Memory Card", I also got all chars in 99.. I'ts becuse I wanna train he's chars so it will be like my but it don't work so now I have to start back from start ): Shit man!

Thanks Delta. That pretty much explains it. What bothers me though is why did they bother to include NORMAL versions of the characters if they're basically incomplete (eg. Goku not being able to turn into a SS at all with his normal version but only with his custom version).
