If you listened to disturbed its no wonder you think metal is shit. You listened to a lame manufactured ersatz metal.The fact is, with any genre that you don't like it takes a certain amount of suspension of existing principles to understand it.I didn't like dnb/dubstep til i heard skeng by The Bug.I didn't like Keane til i heard Is it any wonderI didn't like REM til I heard some of the album cuts from Automatic.I didn't like Slayer til I listened to the drums and vox properly.

I should say though, my true interpretation of this song was about a couple too. The way I heard it, the guy was broken up with, or commited suicide to escape the situation of the relationship. "something I wasn't sure of, but I was in the middle of..etc." I believe that refers to love.Like he was being used.. like he was codependent."Years make everything alright"-totally a breakup.You say some things go away.." his feelins for her"you say some things never die"-his suicide attempts
