I have to admit , impressive info you gave me there :D Yeah , true. but my point was (and still is) every tank has it's own speciality or even it's own weakness. you can't really say this is THE BEST TANK, like a lot of those kiddies do.

Well Chobham was designed in the 60ies and then became the term for ceramic layer armor. So that doesn´t say anything to deem the 3rd Generation armor any less good.And the 3rd Generation armor still gives more then 600 RHA for the Body, and more then 900-1000 for the Turret...i think this is enough.Also the almighty wikipedia sais the Leopard 2 uses Spaced armor...being lighter and generally more effective then the same thickness of a single plate.

Nope , abrams and challenger have Chobham armor , the Leopard is still equiped with the 3rd generation composite armor. while abrams it's self has also the depleted uranium armor.

They have the same armor, or do you think a Leopard 2 is still made out of steel?It has the same steel ceramic alloy armor as every modern tank, and it was mostly invented by brits XD

No tank is the best in the world. it depends on crew and other factors. But the abrahams is a really good tank :) but surely not THE best , because it needs lots of fuel ! leopard doesn't need that, but hey they don't have the special armor...

and why would it have the capability to do so? tactics? the whole world has tactics ! and yeah you can have a record, but sometimes it's pure luck and not skill. So it's not certain that they will win, it would even suprise me if they would win from a superpower like america or even just india.The Pakistanian economies suck so the PAF probably doesn't have the money to keep up. + America has the technologies and NATO
