the treatments we have now are the same treatments they offered 50 yrs. ago.chemo radiation and surgery.every cent should go to research but it don't.billions of dollars later and no better treatments.go ahead and do some research and you will see how many treatments for cancer have been suppressed over the years,or are you one of the many gullible people who actually beleives that there are no cures for cancer.

And aren't you just a ray of sunshine. I think you'll find a lot of money is ACTUALLY SPENT ON RESEARCH.If there wasn't then we wouldn't have some of the treatments we have now that do CURE some people.

There is something really annoying about a fundraiser with multi-million dollar-making celebs begging the common poor folk to send in money. Most of us can barely pay our mortages and medical bills!! Have they all dipped into their OWN pockets?? Where is Oprah and her billions? Where is Tom Cruise and his millions???How 'bout President Bush, can he spare some cash??

That is great news, and God bless you Dave. I am sure you lead a different life now. I am also sure that they did not cure you for free. You should research the natural way to combat suck a disease. For there is indeed one, but it will not drain your pockets and your family's pockets.There is always more than one choice, always.Change is constant.One day there will be no pills.Only love.

Try telling that to the American Cancer Society. I dare say, if you spent an ounce of effort learning about the research done by them and other like minded organizations, you'd see that almost all of the monies raised goes toward finding a cure for this KILLER disease.They saved my life and I could not tell you how many others.

I can attest that your body needs to be alkaline to not have cancer. When I was sick, I started the acid alkaline diet. MY body was acidic and never alkaline until after the cancer was cut out of me, and it appeared to be functioning properly the day I came home from the hospital, though I did not get a true alkaline reading until about a week later.I'd like to see someone conduct a study as to whether acidic causes cancer or if it just allows cancer to thrive.

in the uk, we might not b as big as usa but atleast our doctors get their priorities right. usa is overpopulated. that is why hardly any cures come out of that side of the atlantic. they dont want to raise the population/
