Look, this is a great song by Snoop and Company. Yes, towards the end Snoop breaks down into a rap, but I really wouldn't classify this as Rap.That aside, the music in this - specifically the 808 programming and the strings (a roland juno?) is rooted in Detroit Techno/Electro. I am not sure who produced this song, but I am willing to bet they are familiar with the likes of Juan Atkins and Derrick May.
