Because while this is true there are political concerns and if the worlds thinks this isn't true then it becomes a problem. The United States is much more worried about Arab opinion than Israeli so they pressure Israel so they can get what they want. Also if we annexed the West Bank, then what would we do with all the Arabs? They for sure would just vote in Arabs that would try to turn the State against it's original purpose which is a home land for the Jewish People.

Israel is asking for the people of West Bank to join Hamas. It is imple. Keep taking the West Bank land from Palestinians and Israel will have to face the fact that the West Bank will become Hamas in order to protect Palestinians on their own land.Israel is justifying the need for Hamas. Hamas will never allow such activity which Israel does in direct breach of International Law.

Don't bring up 67. You can't even begin to understand that because the Arabs were in the middle of planning to attack Israel and Israel out of fear tried to defend itself and accidentally won. We won just like the US won back in the 1700's. And how do you define Palestinian land anyway? That it was part of Palestine? The current people living in Israel were not even part of a government. Palestine was run by the Brits and then they just left. THE WEST BANK HAS NEVER HAD A GOVERNMENT
