ablitablit, you may have misunderstood me. Brian was trying in my opinion to show Justin that being in his loft was out of generosity and kindness and love. He told Justin over and over how important it was to make sure that the Alarm System was on and Justin didn't listen or he forgot. Also, keep in mind that Brian worked very hard for everything that he had and to have Justin "lose" it may have been a betrayal in his eyes. When your Home is Robbed, it's a form of Rape.

But I don't think Brian was just angry about the alarm. This was the last straw. He didn't want the responsibilty of having Justin around.That doesn't justify throwing J out. He should have waited to calm down, and then found another place for J to live - which IS what he does later in this episode, but not until after lectures from Daphne and Deb, and the support of his friends on the road trip.

I gather that both RAINBOWBIBO and laminage have never made a mistake or forgotten anything in their entire lives. Oh to be so perfect !Of course it wasn't unforgivable! J is only 17. I've forgotten to set my own alarm/door as an adult, let alone 17.In fact B was bad for throwing a 17 year old out on the streets when he knew he had no place to go to.

I wish we could have seen more of Molly in the series - we only see her in that birthday scene and briefly in season 2, episode 2. Oh well, there's plenty of fanfiction to make up for that
