Jim Reeves will always be one of my favourite performers EVER. My mother had all of his albums, and when she was putting her will together, asked us kids if there was anything in particular we'd like - ALL of us said her Jim Reeves collection!! We're still fussing at each other about it, LOL!

This song was withheld from release for several years. It was originally scheduled for release when the Cuban Crisis came up so they held it thinking it would be taken the wrong way. Then Viet Nam held it back until after Jim's death. It was released in 1967 or 68. I first hears it in 68. I was told this story by one of Jim's former musicians.
