These devices provide movement data which can be used to compensate for the movement. MY DAD figured out what goes on here .. I remember Pa explaining why a chicken struts the way chickens do. It's all a matter of perspective. With it's head relatively close to the ground - things seem blurry - difficult/impoosible to spot specks of food. Chicken stabilizes head and then darts head forward twice as fast as it stepped forward. In short - provides visual acuity while chicken is on the move. Chicken is not forced to stop in order to have a good look at something. 10-4
