One thing of many that I like about Jimi Hendrix is, that after all the experiments he has done, his use of effects and alternating techniques has been super-precise in the most memorable recordings or life-acts. I do not know much, but sense, that the "Wawa" (a.o.) must be another "instrument", not just some gimmick to surprise an audience.
