so, that girl jumping into the pool was extremely dangerous. Not because of cold, the liquid had all boiled off by then, but because there could have been no oxygen in the air just above the pool because it had been displaced by the nitrogen gas Luckily enough air was moving around that she was fine.The biggest danger of liquid nitrogen isn't the cold, but suffocating from the gas that boils off. It's not toxic at all, but it's not oxygen. You're breathing nothing that can keep you alive.
