Oh, I'm well aware that the tory philosophy works differently empirically. In reality, all politicians and political parties just strutter around trivial bullshit.

Deregulated! What are you smoking! Oh well It's apparent you are like the rest of the sheep! bah

I did, and you're the moron. There's nothing wrong with big businesses unless there is a government to create trade barriers and ridiculous licensing. This creates artificial monopolies, oligopolies, etc.If there was no government, the bigger businesses would be the better ones for the consumers. I think you need to re-direct your hatred from tories to government in general. Especially when tories are the most for deregulation, which is bad for corporations.

Are you stupid read the post! Read my post it says I am against big business and conservatives controlling government! Wake-up.
gn0m1k(December 21, 2008 at 6:53 am)
Why is it horrible? Why would I invest any of my effort into politics. The government is a thieving, coercive entity that I did not agree to funding. Also, centrally planning an economy does not work empirically. We must disolve government completely, or to the judicial branch. Get rid of unions, and open our borders.
gn0m1k(December 21, 2008 at 6:44 am)
You do realize that with more regulation, big businesses can control government more, don't you?Er...I guess you don't. Enjoy your ignorance.

Canada is dismantled by a weak Federal Government, which is run by inept parties that are pushing for the same agenda.Paul Martin, Liberal, signed up for the North American Union, which was further systematized into Security&Partnership Act by a Conservative, Stephen Harper!Fact is stranger fiction!A prime example is Canada's Governor General, of non-Canadian birth, who openly advocated separation of Quebec, which will spark similar moves of other provinces!A sad state of affairs.

Yes indeed Eprince, For the last 40 years i have watched the unspeakable happen to my Canada, Crown corporations that cost the CDN tax payer billions, Handed down south to the Yankee masters and sweet deals given to the ministers all part of the rendering of Canada,What the Hell are CFR members doing to Canadian Telivison and Radio, We seen whats happened With that Tori dream NAFTA how quickly CDN resources have been not developed but aquired by these multinationals our own resources sold south.

As a Canadian for the last 20 years, it is horribly sad to see how politically passive Canadians are!Somehow Canadians accept rising tuition costs, hike of gas prices, high insurance rates, deregulation of rent, ever-increasing taxes, and a multitude of other elements that would normally enrage the French or Americans or Europeans.Though Canada is known for openness, tolerance, intellectual freedom, unsurpassed education (GO U of T, GO!), but Canada seriously lacks a feeling of NATIONALISM!

If nothing else, many apathetic Canadians are learning about our political process : )Let's see ... We elect Parliament; Parliament elects Government. A minority gov't governs at the pleasure / confidence of Parliament.Harper's Budget lost the confidence of the House [Parliament]. When gov't loses confidence of the House, they honorably step down. That is parliamentary democracy. As of yesterday, Canadians do not have Parliament - sad day for democracy.
