I am seriously considering a career in law enforcement, but am disgusted with these incidents. I do agree that Grant is not as "innocent" as people here are making him out to be, and I also feel Mehserle did not act in "cold blood." But it still should not have happened, as Mehserle clearly had no legitimate reason to brandish a weapon at all.

You know, normally I'd agree with that, but in this case here that cop just really fucked up. No other way of putting it. The guy was face down on the ground and no longer posed a threat.Even if he was a thug, that doesn't make this right.

I dont wish bad on no one but what if someone had his child face down and executed will you say the same thing? Thats exactley what he did. it's on tape. he had no reason other than he just did not give a damn about this young man life. i wonder if he see that man's face every time he goes to sleep at night. He was dead wrong for doing that. he has to face god one day for his actions also. that's where the true justice will be giving.
