Although I never knew or met the young Marine, his actions uphold and show what the Marine Corps tradition truly is about. Born November 10, 1981 (The Marine Corps birthday) he jumped on an enemy grenade, covering it with his helmet and saving the lives of two other Marines in exchange for his own. He died eight days later on April 22, 2004 at the age of 22. He later received the highest medal of the United States Military, the Medal of Honor. Cpl. Dunham's act of heroism will never be forgotten. Its been awhile. Iv talked about and talked. About 3-4 months ago I just started to really look at the information with the Army and Marines. Iv had a few uncles two grandfather of which one saw combat and I know of one great grandfather.

Idk Obama wants to keep 50,00 in Iraq and Nancy Pelosi Speaker of the House of Representatives wants only 25,000 in Iraq. I heard something about keeping mostly marines in Iraq and a little bit of army but Idk. Girl that one of my friends work with brothers just got out of bt and he was sent to Iraq so I guess its a throw up and a guy I went to school with just went to bt for the Army national guard. He just left 4 days ago.

Thats because they don't play much of role in Blitzkrieg. Quick armoured powerful thrusts after heavy air bombardment. It was a totally new idea, the Allies used tanks scattered all over the place, the Germans used them in concentrations - Blitzkrieg. Infantry had obviuosly been used before in quick offensives.

You got that right. And no, your definition is not correct, Blitzkrieg stems from the German attack on France. Not invasion but initial offensive move's. You can't try the thrusts Guderian and Rommel pulled off with infantry, the troops come later, in support.
