Born November 10, 1981 (The Marine Corps birthday) he jumped on an enemy grenade, covering it with his helmet and saving the lives of two other Marines in exchange for his own. He died eight days later on April 22, 2004 at the age of 22. He later received the highest medal of the United States Military, the Medal of Honor. Cpl. Dunham's act of heroism will never be forgotten. Yea we use the M16. I don't know if it they don't like the gun or they don't like that they have to keep the Maintenance up on the weapon. It firers the 5.56 mm which is the same as the SA80. The 5.56 has a farther rage then the Kalashnikov 7.62 mm just less kinetic energy because of the 5.56 being smaller.

Yea. Its a variant of the SA80 rifles. It replaced the SLR L1A1 in 1987.

I do have to say tho I really like the SA80 A2 L85 with its bullpop design it just makes it a lot easier for soldiers with a dismounted Close Combat role.

In the Territorial Army (reserves). Because the British army is so small, they are always been sent to Afghanistan. A few uncles, one of which lost an eye.
