How do you know that for fact when not a single leading official has ever come out to indict or condemn any of Roosevelt's actions with regards to Pearl Harbor. As far as the Gulf of Tonkin goes it sure as day that the Americans attacked the VCs first, I as well as the rest of the rational people in this country are sure of that. And as far as gov't not serving the people that worked out great when they were moribund under Hoover during the Depression and under Bush for Katrina.

He was also warned by US intelligence, who had broken Japan's codes, and were listening to their orders to their fleet.The Gulf of Tonkin incident that was the rallying point for the US to go to war in Viet Nam was a hoax. There was no attack on any American ship. It was all made up.It is patriotic to be suspicious of the government's actions. The gov't is supposed to serve the people, not the other way around.
