if a song praises God and Jesus, i think it doesn't matter how the song's put. the song glorifies God and Jesus, so it just comes down to this.

But its not about flashy cars or tattoos. Lecrae is saying, "The world is gonna drive around listening to sinful music? Then we'll drive around listening to our superior, God-honoring music." And that turns heads. Listen to Trip Lee's bars at the end of his second run:This Jesus music turns heads/So turn it up and let em know//In all we do He's first and/This Jesus music's better bro//

Yes, you're correct, we are supposed to judge using biblical wisdom. And we do judge all the time, what company we should spend time with, who we should marry, what church we should attend, whether someone is in error, etc. 1 Thess 5:21---test all things, hold fast to what is good. Christ in the sermon on the mount was referring to hypocritical judgment. When He says "judge not, lest you be judged," He is saying "be very careful about your lifestyle because you'll be judged as well!"

I understand about not judging but how are we able to develop into better people if people do not point out things which we are doing wrong? I`m not judging him, maybe he got the tats before he truely found God? I dunno, but I wouldnt be showing off things like that in a song about God, even though its small, it sends out a wrong message
