beautiful!! this is in my top 3 all time favorite movies because if its fantastic native themes....and the truth which it spills out onto the screen like wine! I've seen it in excess of 50x, and it will always remain one of my top choices of "what to watch on movie night"! (not to mention, Graham Greene&Val Kilmer...2 pools of drool in one! yummmmmmmm!!!)

unbeliavable. this is sickening. when you think of the great and peacefull natives who lived in harmony with this earth for 10 000 years, what did they get as a reward? extermination and poverty. its really disgusting but in america unless you complain and start to raise hell people just ignore you. an infierior morality born of an inferior age. earth is crying, she will heave and usurp these infidels. my soul cries for the native peoples. when i sit in the forest i meditate about their wisdom

I know I am old. But I have this movie on VHS and am in the process of converting all of my movies to DVD. The fact that they have taken it off the shelves sucks. Just like if you go to the book store and try to find a book on the history of Germany. All you will see is Hitler shit.
