Opeth are boring as fuck. All their songs follow the exact same structure, the growling and vocals are some of the most pretentious vocals I've ever heard. Opeth should've been upstaged long ago by metal, as they haven't made a decent album in 10 years, and bands like Orphaned Land, Disillusion, Drudkh, Agalloch, Burst, and Negura Bunget shit all over them.Opeth are nothing like AWS, and shouldn't be compared at all.

Heard all this stuff before, and way better. Sounds like there's some Bad Religion in there. I say skip this and just stick with what's tried and true: the old REAL stuff. This is pretty trite, lame and boring.
