Imagine! Kenya sings for India

Leading film-makers are seeking to change the way we think about other countries. This is one of a powerful series of films to be shown on Pangea Day, May 10, "the day the world comes together through film".See all six anthems. Then visit http://... and register your screening for May 10. It's time to imagine a different world. Here, set against the backdrops of Nairobi city and the beautiful landscape of Uhuru Park (Maasai country), a Kenyan choir sings the Indian national anthem. The director has chosen the Indian anthem because Kenya is home to a sizeable Indian population (including Sikhs&Jains also) of approximately 2.5 million, most of them descendants of the East African Railways labourers who were brought over by the British during the late 19th and early 20th centuries when the British colonialists ruled Kenya and the rest of the East African region.Credits:concept: JOHANNES LEONARDOPRODUCTION HOUSE Blue Sky Films (EPZ) LtdProducer Mario ZvanProducer Jim ShamoonDirector Bob NyanjaProduction Manager Hemal ShahProduction Coordinator Shiv MandaviaProduction Assistant Consolata KaraniProduction Assistant Phylis AndikaProduction Accountant Catherine MumbuaAssistant Director Tosh GitongaLocation Manager Yayha ChavangaDirector of Photography Martin MunyuaCombined flags provided by conceptual artist Mariano FavettoChoir Coordinator Maggie KiundiCamera Assistant Kevin OumaBest Boy Lighting Francis OumaElectrician Ezekiel AndikaKey Grip Jackie TellaCrane Grip Steve ObundeAssistant Grip Ken OmutimbaSound Recordist Lee SmithWardrobe Coordinator Sophie OprisanuWardrobe Assistant Chris KariukiUnit Coordinator Patrick MusyimiUnit Assistant Wycliff OboteUnit Assistant Joel KaroEditor Philip MurugiDriver Lawrence MachariaDriver George AtsiayaDriver Ferdinand YeswaDriver Mwangi D.Driver Mbugwa D.Choir:Geoffrey MukotoEsther Nyandia KariukiViolet Muhonjia IngosiUrbanus Kioko OctavyJane Wandi Wanjira NjeruMathew Muriuki GithinjiJames KagwimahBrenda N. Kenya + India = shithole. It seems that this poverty filled, dirty, filthy nation known as India wants to be a superpower. 700 million Indians do not have toilets and they shit in public. Wow that is 70% of Indias population. Half of Indias children are malnourished. 75% lives under 20 rupees per day. [Source: wikipedia-pages -sanitation in India- economy of India- child labor]. Superpower with the largest slum, largest population with AIDS, largest pool of illiterates

The British of the eighteenth century were a great people and Indians were weak. Today Indians are becoming greater and the British weaker by the day. You and Me are living today, that just makes me very lucky and you a bag of shit.
