The music video for "The Scientist" was very popular with its reverse narrative. The same concept was previously used for Spike Jonze's 1996 music video for The Pharcyde's "Drop". This reverse style was first seen in the video for the song "The Second Summer of Love" by Scottish band Danny Wilson in 1989. It took Martin a month to learn to sing the song backwards.[36]

I don't think it's plagiarism. You can't copyright such a thing anyways. By the way, I think this one was better, because Coldplay's is broken up, and in several scenes. This one is one video flow. My opinion though, don't hate.

This is plagarism of Coldplay's "The Scientist" music video, which pulls off the whole backwards filming 100 x better.

he learned the lyrics backwards. at a live show on one of his dvd's he says that he had to do it and it took him ages. then he sung the chorus backwards on stage and it was so funny. if you type in, 'sitting waiting wishing forward' on youtube, it'll show what they were doing before they reversed it. when they put it forward his mouth was moving normally.
