while were on the subject of harmonics cani let youse all in on a little secret if you touch it just right you can do a natural harmonic with vibrato its hard to touch it so it doesnt mute you can bend it unfortunaly because any movements to harsh mute it and if you bend gently the harmonic will be gone before you can bend did anybody else already know all that i was amazed the first time i did a natraral vibrato harmonic or nvh

you have to touch the string you are playing with your thumb as you pick it. it's all one motion, you pick it and then your thumb instantly hits the note in a certain spot creating a harmonic. it's like doing an open harmonic, only with your thumb.
