The Jam, the band that didnt really fit into the punk rock standards, The Jam didn't want to be placed there. They did it their own way... and so brilliant good!! Presented by Tony Wilson
One of the finest Jam perfomances I've ever seen. Pretty intense.

Also, forgot to mention.I'm 25, many 'celebrities' have died in my lifetime. I remember Sinatra going. Didn't give a fuck. I remember Princess Di going. Didn't give a fuck. (And I'm English, for the record). The two 'celebrity' deaths I was most taken aback, saddened and really mourned were: John Peel in 2004; and Tony Wilson in 2008.Guys, music is just - worse - without you. I miss you. I really miss you both.Takes a real man to make statements like that.

A fantastic hook, stolen wholesale by Steve Jones for 'Anarchy in the UK' by the Sex Pistols . Apparently Weller and Jones had a punch-up about it.Say what you will, but Weller still records phenomenal stuff to this day, and the Pistols? Well, Johnny Rotten does butter adverts, and nobody's even near to giving a flying fuck about Jones.Karma, my friends.

god forbid anyone dilute your celtic/roman/ anglo saxon/viking/norman culture, history or tradition. You realise the culture, history and tradition you are trying to "protect" has been created by mass migration and colonisation?
