My father couldn't pass away till I came to see him. He was asking for me and he passed away right in my arms putting his head on my shoulder. He smiled before he died.

DLJTMB-My father died when I was in my twenties. We had an argument (one of many) before he became ill. We weren't able to resolve it before his death. The only thing I was able to do was whisper into his ear that I loved him before he passed. I don't know if he heard me. It still bothers me very much. As James Taylor says, "Shower the people you love with love. Show them the way that you feel."You sound like you've learned and turned your sadness into something good...your dad's legacy.

My Dad died in he's 46th year. We weren't very close, and I wish that had of been different. I loved him so much but I didn't feel that love in return. So when I had a son I treated him as I wish I had of been treated. Remember to just show your kids how much you love them it does matter.

Great song. I'm a singer/songwriter. Check out my original song "Don't You Worry."

a religion that endorses what another religion shuns is not a false religion. and you're not Yusuf/Cat so you are in no place to judge his choices. Im not Islamic, in fact I am an Australian who is still undecided. But I believe that people like you are the cause of atheists. you shun all that dont follow your 'flock.' so they in turn think "If they follow God, then he cant be all powerful if he cannot make his followers kinder." speak with compassion, not hate. It will mean more.

Binding to my first comment and searching to answer to your question I can say only that I see. And I see that any religion, as like any each sort of music, political idea, flag, or etical move...Any poem or thought are nothing! All is nothing without a real, real, consciousness. All is nothing without a real life-die experience. Any idea, any thoughts are nothing. Christ or Buddha, Maometto or Moses: who real were this personages??? And the most important question: who is you? "What are" you?

In my opinion it's easy, for this nice smiles, to cover a song so good, and fine like "Father&Son". The creativity is, today, recopy the past with fine and new face ..and few, real, new deas. I love the music of the past: 60's 70's 80's music, english progressive, of 70's, I like Giuseppe Verdi and Jazz, I like Cat Stevens (today Yusuf Islam) and much other artist: but this continuos and sterile "dig in the same ditch" is depressing. And I glimpse, in this remakes, only a commercial step...
