I notice that a lot of these people who live off of government salaries DO NOT CARE about the financial struggles of working class Americans. They simply never think about it. These top level government employees have all sorts of benefits: free health care, free transportation, free hotels, free lunch, etc. They don't worry about the cost of living.

you say that the military could have prevented 9/11? how so?ever heard of reserves?you act like the states are chronically under-protected. why do your borders need more protection now? whom are you afraid of? the canadians or the mexicans?i think you have a rather strange understanding of the military's duty. i think you don't understand it at all, or else you wouldn't have stated that military bases are located in enemy countries, while they're in fact stationed in friendly territory

What I don't get is why we have our military stationed so far away from our own borders, which aren't as protected as they should be right now. Especially considering that 9/11 probably could have been prevented that way. Are all of these countries which we have bases in really threats to our national security when we have the strongest military on earth? Where is this paranoia coming from anyway (hint, hint, paranoia is an inherent Jewish trait, which happens to be the religion of Mr. Fried)

great job misunderstanding how the system works...the states behave like the world police, not because other countries beg for its help, but because it ensures its own power this way. how the hell do you want to protect your borders if the threat sits thousands of kilometers away? you need outposts to sustain a usable infrastructure if worst comes to worst, that's why the US has bases all over the world, so don't act like those function as protection for the countries they are located in...
