Those farmboys and inner city kids are still better off than almost anyone in Africa. Poor people who complain about what life is like in America should be deported to the third world. It would be roughly five minutes before they started waving their flags and crying to go home. Five seconds if they're in a real hell hole like Darfur.

On any intellectual of factual level Power is idiot shill for imperialism. Her book is a joke and her ability to distinguish between lies and facts is apparently nonexistent. Just because the "Save Darfur" coalition says 400,000 people have died in Darfur doesn't make it automatically true. 200,000 is probably an accurate number for the dead in the counter-insurrection. Compare that to 1.28 million dead in the US aggression against Iraq - which her pal Obama has voted to fund.
