Erm, does anyone use RISC chip sets? Bet you're using them all of the time without even knowing it.. THATS the legacy of BBC (well Acorn anyway) - its just a shame that the Thatcher government didn't realise the brilliance and invested when they had the chance ...

the mc68000 processor had a much smarter design and assembler language.that is why the programs were much smaller than comparable programs on platforms like the pc.Also more programmers used the assembler language, since it was very comfortable on that processor. the i386 assembler is a pain in the back, so people use basic, C and languages that need to be interpreted and compiles and hence grow in size even more...

totally agree. too bad the commodore marketing department fucked it up so hard by degrading it to a "childrens toy"hence allowing it for PC to keep its dominat position although with much less efficient means

This is Win 95 with Win 3.1 graphics.But 10 years before.AMAZING.The failure of Amiga imao is the greatest lost in the history of computer evolution.I would tell more, but i'm italian and so i dunno the other languages.:)
