I don't think she would have sold more records in Oz than the Beatles but she was certainly huge here.I actually think she was a big and uncredited influence on AC/DC's 70's sound. Listen to this track for example.Primal drum beat ,check. Crude driving guitars and bass, check.Yelled backing vocals that sound like a bunch of yobbo's having a big night on the piss, triple check . Don't get me wrong I love both Suzi Q and AC/DC . I do think she influenced them though.

Krypt, I was born in 1968 and she's a little before my time. Yeah, I MAY have heard 'Stumblin' in' on the airwaves in the 70s but didn't get her name and maybe they didn't give her radio play enough out here in the bay area, San Francisco. And yeah, I did see that episode in Happy Days when it I was an actual show and not a rerun and still she wasn't familiar to me because I thought she was a fictionally made up character and she didn't look anything like someone from the 1950s.

You've never heard of her??? Suzi is from MI, I believe but didn't find much success in the USA. She had her biggest success in England in the Glam Rock genre. She didn't find much success in music in the U.S., but she did in television... she was Leather Tuscadero(sp), Pinky's little rockin' sis, on Happy Days. She also had a hit duet with Chris Norman in '79-80 with the song Stumblin' In.
