Curtis Mayfield never was never under rated, he made his mark so deep in the music world that people such as D' Angelo, Prince Nelson Rogers BKA Prince, and countless others mimick him&his style right now today. This brother was the poet of poets. Nobody never ever told a story better than Curt. His songs embodied so much soul that it influenced our thoughts back in the day in such a powerful way that we became galvanized with black pride, love&unity.Come on don't you all remember.

Yes. This is the school I was raised on. All the musicians in the video were on the actual session. Strings and brass parts were added after the track was laid down.
