Check out Bill Bruford drumming on youtube.. he pioneered a similar setup - it allows for quicker rolls and allows one to play with out having to cross arms..

I remember my kid sister freaked out when this long awaited video finally aired on MTV's 120 min.1987. She was counting the days and minutes! We had a little viewing party. I didnt understand the meaning of it only till a couple weeks after. It was perfect beauty. Pure complete art that truly is irresistible to the eyes of the innocents.
