By adding oxygen and impurities to the oil with the airator, isnt that doing to have a negative effect on the life of the motors and components?

Oil does not conduct electricity. If you watched the video before commenting perhaps you'd see that.

Rusting is caused by Oxygen combining with Iron. I'm sure mineral oil has a lot less Oxygen content than being exposed to air.
