This sketchbook ates from 2000 to 2002. I worked at a day program for Adults with severe and profound developmental delays. I was a glorified arts and crafts instructor. During the quiet time in the afternoon we would all sit with cheap printer paper, crayons, ink, watercolors and various other art materials and sketch and draw. I made several hundred sketches like these, sening most home with the people I sketched. Several of the people pictured are dead and I've lost touch with may of the people I used to work with and I have no idea where many of them are now. I know that several sketches that I made of these people were framed and hang in carious group homes across the Northeast of the state.
I agree about the sound paper makes when you turn pages. I love that sound.

you know, I started to re shoot because I got an actual video camera and can now linger on the images and not rush through the video. I started adding the music to hide other things that were going on in the background. I started to shoot the movies upstairs in better light...

this is my favorite book of yours because it isn't so fancy and you still shot a video for it. i like the story behind it as well. also it makes me sad that you're re-doing your old videos with music, because my favorite part is the sound paper makes when you turn the pages. call me weird, but i think it adds to the effect.
