i read somewhere that Children Of Bodom are a heavy metal/power metal band with DM influences i don't know % true it's what they said there

I think of metal as one big genre, and death metal as a sort of subgenre. Melodic death metal is what it sounds like--it's got the growling vocals and drumbeats of death metal, but it's got more melody to it. The vocals tend to be easier to decipher without lyrics, too, but that's not always the case. Hope this helps.Awesome vid. CoB are fucking delicious.
