I am in a little trio and we try to play this instrumentally with this feel.Elis is one of my favorite singers. A dvd of this sequence of songs is available out of brazilian stores, at least. I bought one and like to watch it very much.

Sampayu, I have always loved this song. Bossa Nova is one of my earliest memories (I'm nearly 47) and I love the music and the lyrics whilst having an absolutelty minimal understanding of Brazilain Portuguese,so what you have done is enlightened me and made Upa Neguinho even more enchanting than I knew could be possible. Thank you very much indeed for this. (Have you ever translated cinco criancas? or Abre Alas?. Peace be upon you (and may you be happy, blessed, healthy, and wealthy).

Your comment sincerely made me feel very well. Thanks a lot.=)It really makes me feel good when I try to make lyrics more "perceptible" to people, and then people give me feedback expressing how worth-the-effort it was. Thx again.=)

Eu traduzi a letra aqui no fórum mesmo. Se ainda estiver querendo ver uma versão em inglês da letra, é só dar um pulinho novamente por aqui, rs.
