unless you treat them with respect. are they naive and believe in the fairy tale romance or are you guiding them to be discreet in how and whom they choose to meet guys? are you teaching them to hold their own or are they under the impression that a man should/can/would/wants to take care of them. last time i checked grown people took care of themselves. it's up to you to set your emotions and reservations aside and become a mentor and let them make the mistakes that teach not those that kill

nope all american. i'm only 23, and i know that i spell like a brit and actually have decent grammer. scary huh? and yeah i'm gay, but if i weren't it'd still be true that there's a huge gender gap when people think of children. everyone wants a boy. or that scientology commercial where the kid narrating's like "should my parents spy on my sister even if its for her own good?" well fellow americans should the govn't spy on you even if it's for your own good, or should we spy on them?
