I belong there and God knows how much I wanna go back home. But there's just nothing to do there. It's like if you wanna have a peaceful life or if you wanna do business, you gotta kiss the local authorities' asses. Can't believe how my own government is treating it's own people this. way. Just hope that the governmetal organisation as a whole becomes less and less selfish.

The brutal military regime in Burma/ Myanmar uses the money it earns from tourism to maintain its stranglehold over the population. This is one of the regimes few sources of income. You can help to destabilise the regime if you deny them this support. Please do not travel in Burma. Foreign travel companies must be held accountable when they encourage foreigners to go to Burma. Please do NOT support these companies.

ive been there my mom was born there she said some of the temples are plated in real gold!
