OK, the 2ND to last day. I haven't seen the footage for a number of years but you'll have to take my word for that (at least) it DID exist and it was filmed and maybe some schmuck threw it away. But I did see it, it's fascinating to watch and perhaps the Hall Of Fame has it. Who knows.

it doesn't exist. first of all, it was the 2nd to last day of the season. and of course there were phrotographers, but thats not the same thing

Trust me Dave! There is/was a filmed record of Babe's 60th. The camera was ready for this event because he was, afterall, breaking his own record on the last regular day. There is also a still shot on the cover of The NY Tribune or one of the local papers of Babe hitting it. But the film, I hope, has been preserved. After 49 years, I've seen a few historical things in this life. I wish they could locate it.

Maybe you're right. Babe Ruth played against 100% white pitchers. Well, both Aaron and Bonds played against over 95% white pitchers, so give them both 5% more Home runs and compare that number to the number of ABs they had, and they still aren't even close to Ruth HR percentage. Maybe Josh Gibson is the best HR hitter ever, but Bonds and Aaron aren't even close to Ruth.

I agree totally ,,,no pimped out bat, no steroids and for that matter little training lol. Im a hockey fan dont watch much ball but if in hockey someone came along on roids and beat gretzkys records i would be royally pissed and definately want an asterix beside their name, and im no gretz fan either. As hitters Babe and Aaron im sure i missed some names but they got their with no body morphing. Feel sorry for the fans of baseball with the mess and the roid scandels. Good luck guys.
