The Azeri saz has nine steel strings (3 sets of 3). It is made of White Mulberry wood and some are inlaid with mother of pearl. It looks similar to the Turkish baglama but is different - the frets and tunings are different and the saz hava are different. One Turkic tree with a lot of really beautiful branches...

Of course, our saz looks like your dombra, like our language look like yours, our cultures are similar to each others also our history is related to yours strongly.So my friend, We always call this situation as a TURCIC culture totally....

Cool video but what is the instrument she's playing? It's like a Kazak dombra but has 4 strings rather than the Kazakh 2 strings.
