Wow! What a find!!!! This is great footage, because there's very little of Bill Haley after the 1950's black and white footage. I always think about what guys like him and Elvis would be doing today. Music just don't sound that good today. I mean, REAL rock and roll.

Bill Haley saw it all during his life. He saw an invention called television make its way into homes. Then came color. On Feb. 9, 1981, Haley died. At the time of his death, cable and satellite were beginning to make inroads into homes across the country. Six months later, a cable network calling itself MTV debuted, and as the late Paul Harvey would say, "You know the rest of the story."

I completely agree. Bill Haley was the very first to top the US-Pop-Charts with "Crazy Man Crazy" in 1953 written by himself and Marshall Lytle. God bless you, Bill! We`ll never forget you!

It was a shame that at this point in the seventies Americans considered all those performers from the fifties as has-beens. It seems like only Europeans appreciated their talent.
