Hey you guys don't insult Gen. Aung San because of current government. Besides before 1988 Military wasn't that bad. If they (I don't say current military)didn't defend the nation today Myanmar will be parts of China (both PROC&ROC), Thai and India. But, however....i don't know what to say this current military(damn you, F***ers)

I saw that you aren't Burmese and misinformed about General Aung San. If you were Burmese, you would know that Aung San is the true hero for all Burmese (perhaps except for the current junta) and will be in our hearts until the time ends.

fishking1875 , US has supported many puppet regime. Saddam was supported during Iran-Iraq war. He would not have been removed if he has cooperated as a puppet. Noreiga's Panama before he stopped cooperating was another one. And there are many more. This is not to say China is a good guy. Just that US and everyone is just as bad.

Aung San has nothing to do with the thugs of current military Junta. Aung San could have led a plivilged life but he chose to serve his people.He was the found of modern Burmese army but after he was gone - assassinated before independence, it was turned into a bunch of prawn-head by the then General Ne Win, a traitor.
