Agreed. The coverage of fencing in Athens was far greater than that of Beijing in 09. It is a pity, because people generally like to watch fencing, but it's not covered by the Olympic coverage crew as much as other sports.

You can usually find rapiers on Ebay for reasonable prices. Some aren't historical, and some are. For an actual rapier used in the 19th Century, you will pay significantly more than for one that has just been constructed.

Where can I get a fencing sword like they used to use in the 1800s, one that goes threw people and doesn't bend like foils, I want a cool sword that is used for fencing to go threw people, I won't use it on people but I need it for an outfit, thank you.

In my opinion the fencing in Athens was much better than Beijing last summer. I only caught a little of the saber but I mean the girls weren't even lunging, lol.Amazing touch at 2:40Man those guys can move

looks dumb as hell...... no offense -__-they get so fucking happy after poking with a ridiculous position.....i mean i can't accept it as a sport..i thought fencing was real smooth and cool but this is like jumping around the place and looks really awkward..
