Alpine Kat and Schroedinger's kittens inaugurate the LHC with rhyme, including one chorus en español. They are joined by LHC project leader Lyn Evans.I had been standing a few metres from the stage filming Les Horribles Cernettes, but when AlpineKat came on everyone moved closer to the stage with their cameras. This was clearly the highlight of the evening.I ended up stuck next to a speaker, which I thought would be too loud for my camera, but I think the sound quality is better than in my previous recordings. Cameramanship is as bad as ever.
