Agree with you mostly, except Vanilla Ice, New Kids, MC Hammer, Insane Clown Posse, and many more. I'd have to give it to the 60's, even though I worship all the bands you mentioned- and Radiohead, Tool, Metallica and many others.

90's was the greatest era for music. I mean look at the bands Nirvana, Soundgarden, pearl jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Alice In Chains and more. Grunge kicked out the hair metal which is what people wanted. There was barley and crappy music in the 90s.
