Somali pirates operating off the Horn of Africa (East African waters) have accelerated their piracy in recent months. The pirates (no, not Sea Shepherd, but real pirates) have been commandeering merchant ships on the high seas (Gulf of Aden and Indian Ocean). The Western nations of Europe, NATO, and the USA have naval ships in the area just watching. The politicians of those nations are trying to determine a course of action hampered by self-imposed rules, law of the sea, international law and treaties. While they were scratching their heads, the pirates continued their dastardly acts.Then out of the ocean blue came the Navy of India who sunk a mother ship of these pirates. Right down to Davy Jones locker went this pirate ship. This video is a salute to the Indian Navy, a navy of action for taking care of business, while the navies of the Western powers have been neutered by their respective politicians.
America needs to wake up&realize the true consequences of there involvement in somali polotics. How can they expect to fund Ethopian soldiers/government&local failed war-lord by the name Abdilaahi Yusuf&still hope for the best outcome. This American double standard policy is the root of all problems&EVIL.The only thing America understands is "how to give with one hand-and then take it back with the other"! The indians may have said that they've killed pirates, but the truth is the pirates are still operating in the Horn. No one can do anything about it, not the West or the East. Few may die here and there, but that will not stop them. Idiot!

No, by my reason, the Indian navy should have sent extra protection to guard the shores of Mumbai, which are not that long... Look it up on Google Maps... Our navy does not protect every inch of the US coastline, but it at least protects those of our vital cities.

But the coastline of Mumbai is much shorter. Mumbai has been experiencing multiple terrorist attacks for years. Just look up the past attacks. It's not like this is the first time this has happened. It is inexcusable for the Indian navy not being able to protect its largest, most important economic hub from infiltration from sea. Do you not think it'd be ridiculous if our Coast Guard did not protect the waters around NYC?
