He doesn't maintain the "smooth and cool" image of a bond(to me, of course) and he is more brutal, crude. As a begining agent, Daniel Craig's bond pass more that image of being a "inexperient agent" and that's soooo cool. He is one of the best bonds!And he remembers physically Sean Connery.

gotta disagree with some of the guys on here...at the end of the day "bond" is supposed to be a cold blooded killer no matter how you swing it, daniel craig potrays this better than any other actor so far while maintaining the bond "smooth and cool" image

Pierce Brosnan does not have the acting range of Daniel Craig. He cannot portray the depth of emotions that Craig can. Whilst a good actor he was unable to portray the cold killer which Fleming had imagined. Plus the 007 scripts for the Brosnan films were getting worse and worse - invisible car???? Fencing with Madonna????
