Not many people care what you do outside the football pitch. And besides Marcus Allback there are 10 other players. Plus the coach. Fair-play is shown by the strongest characters only, the true modern knights.If the referee allowed the goal then swedes should have let the icelandic players to score in order to cancel the unfair goal.I enjoy goals scored through craftsmanship and ingenuity against heavy opposition. That's why i think that goal was crap. There was no opposition or skill.

Well, I agree with you. You can tell a lot about a person by the way they behave on the pitch. But as I said, you shouldn't let one isolated instance decide. Marcus Allbäck, the guy who scores, is known for being a "notorious" gentleman in the football community, he is praised and adored by a lot of people, not only fans and he has done a lot of "charity" work outside the pitch.I can't change your opinion. If you think this is crap, that's up to you. Me, I don't think it's unsportsmanlike.

Stop trolling. How is it not fair play? How would not scoring be more fair? "Oh, you misunderstood the referee? Then here, have the ball right back!" That would be crazy. So, by your logics, if you are awarded a penalty shoot, which you know you've gotten under false pretences, i.e. a dive or similar, but the referee was fooled by it - then the only fair thing to do would be to intentionally miss it?

dougie097 nobody is doubting the validity of the goal. Technically it was valid.But we are talking about FAIR-PLAY in football. Type in this: "Fair Play football" and watch full video (less than 1 min).I'm fucking disappointed in swedes man. That was low and uncalled for especially when they're leading by 4-0. Scandinavians were supposed to be the best of us. I guess that's only a myth now. Fucking shame.
