Pastor Muthee Wasilla Assemblies of God Witch Forced To Leave Village After Sarah Palin's Preacher Accused Her Of Causing Traffic Accidents
Pastor Thomas Muthee, a former missionary to Africa, claims to have driven an African "witch" from her village. Pastor Muthee claims that once the "witch" was removed from the village, most of the bars closed. Keith Olbermann reports with Shannyn Moore. "During many ages there were witches. The Bible said so. The Bible commanded that they should not be allowed to live. Therefore the Church, after eight hundred years, gathered up its halters, thumb-screws, and firebrands, and set about its holy work in earnest. Then it was discovered that there was no such thing as witches, and never had been. One does not know whether to laugh or to cry....." -"Bible Teaching and Religious Practice," Europe and Elsewhere - Mark Twain
Well I saw all I need to know about witches on Monty Python and what we need is more enhanced interrogations like waterboarding because witches weigh less than a duck and that''s why they don't float.~

Yeah, let's trivialize witch hunts. Because you know, they make sense and the victims don't really suffer. *rolls eyes*And if you look, it doesn't actually SAY that America was originally established as a Christian nation. It was founded with religious freedom, but it doesn't say anything about being founded with a specific one.

I think MSNBC is normally TOO liberal, but he's right on this time. You can't honestly tell me that Muthee was justified. Calling someone a witch and accusing them of a rise in crime rates and traffic accidents is crazy-talk. And organizing a mob when someone refuses to give in to blackmail, then having police trash the person's home and kill their pet is cruel and sadistic.I'm sure you'll have some response, but there is no way to make what he did look right.

I wish I had seen this sooner...always knew Palin was a fanatical nut but for a VP candidate to support a man who drove a woman from her home is just pathetic

What a creep this guy is. Why didn't he talk about the Rev Wright and how he hated white people. Man what a one sided nut case.

The biblical god probably murdered millions (including far more than just the flood.)Not that the Bible is hypocritical or anything. ...Except it is.

Ever read the story of the Amalekites? Yaweh ordered a genocide against them and also ordered to save the young virging to rape later.

God is against Murder. You and others have that common misconception. Ever heard of the ten commandments? See 6.
lcswoosh(May 24, 2009 at 6:36 am)
Yeah, 'cause the Christian god was so opposed to killing. Except not.

(BY quite a margin. ;)And who covered for the guy that lost the REST of the 42 Commandments from the "evil" Egyptians? (ie. That Christ restored.)
