too sad to hear about the Ilikal hotel to be closed. I wished to visit Hawaii but until today I hadn't have the opportunity to visit the tropical paradise (the air fare is too expensive)..

I knew a giy who could press his hands together and make "hand farts". He taught himself this song and could "play" it with impressive detail! Hilarious.

There used to be a video on here ("the Vinyl Vault" or something) that played the Hawaii Five-O song "Call to Danger," also by Morton Stevens.Does anyone know what happened to it? I loved it.Basically, it was a longer version of the "CBS Special Presentation" music.

0:14 The storied but money-losing Ilikai Hotel, featured in Hawaii Five-0, will close tomorrow (July 9, 2009) after more than 45 years of hosting Waikiki vacations for millions of travelers.
